Why Starnaute?
This is a short tutorial about making money on Internet.
It deals specifically with PTC.
What is PTC? Read on for a short general view.
I made this tutorial the way I think newcomers in this field should be explained the basic concepts.
How much will I earn per month?
Not much, at least in the beginning.
You will make a few dollars, but enough to pay your monthly Internet tax, or your monthly transportation pass.
Some are doing a few hundreds of bucks.
Some even a couple of thousands. It depends on ... you'll see later.
Make money online? How?
This tutorial is about the so called PTC - Paid To Click.
You click an advertisement and you get some money (between $0.002 - $0.008).
I told you isn't much.
But it could get bigger, just read on.
Hmm... but at some point I should pay some money...?
No!
You don't pay anything.
Just click, count your cents, then dollars and then get paid.
Why are you writing this?

First you need to understand the concept and decide if you want to spend a few minutes on-line clicking each day.
Ok, how much you're making?
And why do you want me to sign up under you?
(All the numerical examples below are for the PTC site called Starnaute. This is the most profitable PTC I know.)
1. First, how much I'm making.
If you only count my clicks, I make $4.11 a month.
(there are 35 ads/day; $0.13/day; $4.11/month)
If it was only this, almost no one would bother to do it.
This is where the most important thing comes in: the Referrals !!!
.. which brings us to the 'why' question:
2. I need you to sign up under me in order to be my Referral.
And this is exactly what you will want if you join this money making thing.
You would want other people to sign up under you.
If you sign up (register) by clicking the brown banner you become my Referral.
(I refer you to the PTC site: this makes you my Referral and I'm your referrer.)
You will earn $4.11/month, but I would get a bonus equal to half of what you're making, i.e. $2.5/month.
(My bonus is not affecting your earnings in any way. You will still earn $4.11/month.)
For every 2 Referrals, I would get an additional $4.11/month.
So, if 2 Referrals give me $4.11, then 100 Referrals would...
Wait, there is a limit to the number of referrals you can have.
That depends on the PTC site and on your user type (standard, premium, gold etc.).
How can I withdraw those little bucks?
By using one of the well known electronic instant means of payment like: PayPal and AlertPay.
Ok, but I won't make big money!
No, you wouldn't if you count only your clicks.
But if you take the time to build up your downline (your referrals) you could earn pretty nice bucks.
Don't get discouraged that you won't have referrals.
It takes time (months) to gather referrals but is rewarding in the end.
The usual monthly earnings of your clicks is $4.11.
This should motivate you to search for referrals (in fact to convince others to join under you) and your earnings will increase quicker.
And how to get referrals?
First, there are 2 types of referrals: direct and rented.
See the glossary for definitions.
Ok, how to get direct referrals?
That's the most challenging task.
It depends on your social environment: friends, colleagues, neighbours, relatives, Facebook etc.
Most importantly, don't get discouraged because building a downline of referrals takes time.
Maybe you cannot think right now of 80 persons to become your referrals, but in time you will slowly build up quite a nice number.
It takes time.
And how to rent referrals?
You rent referrals by using money, but there's no need to use your pocket money.
Instead, you can use the money you made by clicking.
It costs $0.25 to rent one.
Why spend money on renting referrals?
Because this is the gold mine of PTC.
No one would bother clicking for PTC sites if you wouldn't have this option of renting referrals.
Assuming all referrals click as much, the rented referrals bring 3 to 6 times the profit of direct referrals.
And remember! No need to get money out of your pocket for renting referrals!
Use your money you earned by clicking!
Bottom line: Are you really getting paid?
